Categories: Uncategorized |

June 2014 – Capco Crane and Hoist Inc. of Rowley, MA is a proud member of the Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA). By joining CMAA, after a rigorous approval process; Capco became a part of an elite organization of crane builders in the USA. CMAA member companies make up the best and the brightest crane builders in the industry.

Recently, David Caputo of Capco Crane announced the unveiling to the Capco web site (at their WEB CAM page) of a number of CMAA informational background sheets and CMAA video links.

The first piece is an illustrated video showcasing the many features that allow CMAA members to shine in the areas of standards development, best practices, and level of expertise when solving overhead material handling application challenges.

The video also stresses reasons to rely on the long-standing experience of CMAA members when developing plans for the workplace and closely matching products and systems to the job being performed.

The second informational video provides details of CMAA’s commitment to a safe working environment, including a working relationship with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The video also highlights the many ways in which the focus on safety is at the forefront of CMAA projects.

In addition to the videos, promotional sheets are available that place some of the video highlights into a download and print format. The videos and promotional sheets may be accessed by visiting www.mhi.org/cmaa as well as our video page.

David Caputo stated that “since Capco Crane was started we have set the standard for building cranes in New England. Our CMAA membership brings along a responsibility to continue to manufacture bridge cranes of the absolute highest quality and constantly push our own standards higher and higher. CMAA membership also provides us “first look” at the latest information in our industry, whether its new technology or changes in industry rules and regulations.
